Client’s Challenge:
“I love wood furniture, but I need something unique and functional—something that works for my small apartment without overwhelming the space.”
Result :
We designed a versatile walnut coffee table with
black epoxy resin that effortlessly splits into two. One piece transforms into a side table for added functionality, while together they form a 36” coffee table—perfect for entertaining or relaxing with a book and coffee. This smart, adaptable design maximized both style and function for the client’s small space.
Client’s Challenge:
"As a lover of hardwood , I need a unique yet functional piece to help organize the clutter on my sideboard top in style. With authentic hardwood pieces becoming harder to find, I want something that stands out—a design that is as much a work of art as it is practical."
Result :
We crafted a stunning 48-inch tray from rare apple wood, known for its rich tones and intricate grain patterns. The tray was designed not just to sit perfectly atop the sideboard but to enhance its aesthetic appeal. It brought order to everyday essentials, from keys to decorative items, while still allowing the sideboard to shine.
Client’s Challenge:
"I want a table-top tray organizer that’s not just functional but also versatile. Could you make two of them so I can switch things up now and then? I’d love something that brings a fresh perspective to my decor while keeping it practical."
Result :
We crafted a reversible lava tray, a perfect fusion of elegance and utility. Designed to meet the client’s desire for change and versatility, this innovative piece offers two distinct styles in one. One side showcases a striking black-and-natural wood lava pattern, exuding warmth and sophistication, while the reverse offers a subtle, and less dramatic epoxy patterns that easily complements any decor style.
Client’s Challenge:
“I bought an upholstered ottoman thinking it would work as both a coffee table and additional seating, but I’m too scared to ruin the luxurious velvet surface by using it as a coffee table. Is there a way to fix this so I can still use it for both purposes?”
Result :
We designed a custom wraparound coffee table that securely fits over the ottoman, offering both a stylish coffee table and extra seating.
Made from black walnut wood, it protects the velvet surface while providing tray-like utility for drinks and decor. This solution enhances functionality without compromising the ottoman’s aesthetic.
Client’s Challenge:
"I want a custom side table that fits my corner space next to the sofa, with a height of at least 24 inches for practicality.
It should match the color and aesthetic of my room, complementing the gold accents and black accent wall, while enhancing the overall décor."
Result :
We created a custom apple wood side table with black epoxy and brass legs, carefully selected to complement the client’s color palette, gold accents, and black accent wall. The 24-inch height made it a perfect fit for the sofa, blending functionality with style and enhancing the overall décor.

We recently worked with Two Shade Hippos to make a coffee table for our space. They met with us on Zoom and really listened to what we needed. We told them how big our space was and how are furniture layout was, and they suggested the best size for our new table. They came up with a unique idea that we loved. The table can split into two parts, so we can move each piece separately. This makes our living area more flexible. Even when there were some issues with customs, they made sure we were updated and involved at every step. We are so happy with our new table and the great service we got. We'll definitely go back to them for more custom pieces in the future!
